TOURISM AND TOWN CENTRE TEAM LEADER
£31,601 – £35,444
Rugby Borough Council has an exciting opportunity leading a team focussed on delivering a vibrant visitor and town centre economy. The town and borough of Rugby have a long and proud heritage and the potential of Rugby as a visitor destination is huge. The opportunity to take a leading role on realising this potential should not be missed.
Your role would include working with our partners such as World Rugby and Rugby First to develop and enhance the recently opened World Rugby Hall of Fame and to enable Rugby Town Centre to realise its full potential. In addition, you will be responsible for oversight of our visitor information services and managing a small but award winning team.
You will be based at the fantastic Rugby Art Gallery, Museum and Library building in Rugby where we have a reputation for high quality contemporary art exhibitions with strong national partnerships, alongside a nationally significant British Art Collection. We are looking for a creative, experienced, enthusiastic and committed individual to join our dedicated team.
