We are looking for a Network Manager who will strategically develop the ICT systems at Hollingworth Academy. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of: Managing a similar sized network; knowledge and skills appropriate to our network and/or the Academy vision; effectively managing a team; quick problem solving; understanding of core functionality of business. They will also have at least three years of experience on a medium sized network.

As a Network Manager at Hollingworth Academy, you would be part of our Support Staff Leadership Team. You would ensure that the system and network enhances teaching and learning, safety and business continuity for all users.

Hours:  36.25 hours per week, all year round (28 days holiday, plus bank holidays (for all year round staff). 5 extra days holiday for staff with over 5 years of continuous local government service

Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 3.45pm (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break)

Grade: Principal Officer Scale, Points 40-44 (Dependent on experience) (£35,093 - £38,789 per annum).

Contract: Permanent 

Hollingworth Academy is an oversubscribed 11-16 comprehensive situated off the M62/M60 in the town of Milnrow, Rochdale.  In 2008 an Ofsted Inspection graded Hollingworth as ‘Outstanding’ and since that report academic standards have risen still further.
