Are you someone who could manage the day to day operational demands of the Worcestershire Family Contact Service whilst creatively driving and leading  the development of innovative ways of working to ensure that the service develops, is able to respond to demands and performs to expectations?

We have already developed centre-based contacts and work with foster carers to transport children and supervise contacts.  Income generated by providing a traded contact service for other local authority looked after children placed in Worcestershire, is used to grow the service.

Providing a critical liaison role with social work teams, the fostering service, local independent fostering agencies and others we are looking for someone with considerable experience of working within children's services settings. You must have a relevant Level 5 social care qualification with a proven track record of effectively leading a team.   You will need to demonstrate that you are creative, and have the ability to network effectively and build good working relationships.
