Housing Renewal Administration Officer
Are you looking for a challenging and worthwhile role that will make a real difference to your community and the lives of some of our most vulnerable residents? This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Housing Renewal Team based in Bideford.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and tenacious individual to support all area’s of the teams work – disabled facilities grants, empty homes, houses in multiple occupation, private sector housing enforcement and landlord support.
Attributes required for this vacancy:
- Ability to quickly gain new skills and knowledge when faced with new challenges.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Tact and empathy in dealing with vulnerable clients
Applicants must have a minimum of 4 GCSE’s, including English and Maths at grade C or above (or be able to demonstrate equivalent qualifications) and previous experience of working in an office environment in an administrative role. Previous experience of working with the public or in the public sector is desirable.
