Your role

You will be able to make a significant contribution to the educational improvement of Oldham’s children and young people and the delivery of the council’s priorities. You will be acutely aware of the significant challenges in improving outcomes and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to supporting education at all stages. You will be an active member of our local strategic partnerships, including the Oldham Education Partnership.

About you

We are seeking to appoint an experienced senior leader who can challenge existing practices, contribute to corporate leadership, lead the development of robust strategies and foster strong working relationships with partners including schools, senior officers of the council and elected members.

You will share our focus on co-operative working being central to the future of Oldham. You will engage, promote and communicate that ambition within the Education and Early Years services.
