Head of City Transport
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to fundamentally shape the future of a number of key frontline services in the City of Wolverhampton as part of the City Environment area of the Place Directorate.
The Head of City Transport is a new role that brings together all aspects of highway management, development and maintenance, as well as promoting the use of all aspects of public transport and the cycling network in and around the City. The City of Wolverhampton is changing and growing and it is important that we have the infrastructure that meets these changing demands. We are also looking a number of key policies and strategies that will ensure that we have the highest quality parking provision, a safe and welcoming City Centre and new ways of showcasing the City from the moment people enter the City.
These changes are fast paced and challenging. To succeed in this role, you will have an excellent working knowledge of the wider public services agenda and be able to successfully deliver improved outcomes and drive successful organisational change.
