Principal Road Safety Engineer
East Sussex is a beautiful County to live and work in but we have too many people killed or seriously injured on our roads each year. We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled road safety engineer to manage a small team of specialists responsible for the identification and delivery of local road safety schemes, route studies and road safety audit process. You will have highly developed communication and analytical skills and be able to work easily in partnership with other organisations to achieve our road casualty reduction goals. You will be able to analyse and understand complex data about the collisions occurring on our road network and drive forward interventions and local safety schemes in a pragmatic and focussed way. If you have strong organisational skills, a track record in delivering casualty reduction schemes and the drive to make a difference in this area, we would like to hear from you.
