Communications and Web Officer
We are looking for a motivated and creative individual who can hit the ground running in the busy role of Communications and Web Officer.
The role will involve dealing with a range of corporate communications activities, with a focus on website content creation, social media posts and media relations. Developing strong professional relationships within each of the services that Runnymede provides is also a vital part of this job. The role also requires someone capable of supporting the continued development of the Council’s digital communications as part of a small team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills with a good understanding of best practice for communications, good working knowledge of web based technologies, developments and trends. This role also includes copywriting and proofreading tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to focus on the details and will have a creative mind. You will also be required to work under pressure and to deadlines.
