We have a vacancy within our Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service for a QA and policy Officer, to work within the Safeguarding and QA unit. 

Do you have the transferrable skills and ability to become part of our check and challenge customer focused team. The Quality assurance framework is well established within BMBC. We are seeking an individual with significant safeguarding or Quality assurance experience to join us in our small but very friendly team. 

An existing opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance and Policy Officer in our Children’s Quality Assurance and Safeguarding Service. The post holder will help lead the development, monitoring and evaluation of the quality of practice within Children’s Social Care and across the multi-agency partnership, supporting the progress that we are making as a children’s partnership, in delivering good and outstanding services to vulnerable children living in the borough. You will need a good understanding of quality assurance methods and the inspection framework for Children’s Social Care that will help drive improvement by facilitating audits, as well as the development of policies, procedures and training workshops aimed at embedding good practice. 

You should have proven experience and understanding of driving quality assurance processes within social care and /or across a multi-agency partnership, with the ability to analyse, evaluate and articulate what good practice in safeguarding and child protection looks like, applying best practice and emerging research findings.
