In Lincolnshire we are proud of our level of integration between health and social care partners and, our work to secure better organised health and care services within a more sustainable financial envelope. This has afforded us with both a national and regional profile, and yet we know there is so much more to accomplish. We would expect you to help further the integration of services for better effect both within the Council and between the Council and external partners, including a 'Housing for Independence' programme with district council colleagues.

We are also making changes in the Council and seeking a DPH who will accept wider responsibilities and support the Executive Director of Adult Care and Community Wellbeing to establish an integrated Director structure and a more corporate approach building on work already underway.

So, if you are excited by our ambitions and course of direction you should also find that Lincolnshire itself is equally attractive. There are 4 Clinical Commissioning Groups to support, a substantial population in excess of 730,000 people and a beautiful landscape in which to work. Of course, just as everywhere else we are in a time of exceptional change and ongoing financial challenges and in addressing these we began our journey over 4 years ago. Interested?

What can you offer? If you have a successful track record in Public Health, are politically astute, with a strong collective ethos and significant experience. If you are keen to deliver health protection programmes that deliver and can evidence working with partners to provide increased self-care, improved health and care outcomes. If you can demonstrate the benefit of a prevention strategy and have active understanding of health and wellbeing with a vision for the future then we would like to hear from you.
