Engineering Service Manager
St.Helens Council recognises the importance of its Highway Network and how its assets can contribute to the social, economic and environmental development of both the Borough and the wider Combined Authority.
The Engineering Service combines and integrates reactive, planned and preventative highway maintenance and improvement works, street lighting, bridges, traffic engineering as well as asset management, street works and parking services. We are seeking to strengthen the service with an enthusiastic and talented manager who is able to promote quality services and provide leadership to the teams.
The candidate we are seeking will have extensive experience of contract management and leading dynamic teams with the ability to provide inspirational support and guidance to all staff within the service. You will bring with you a proven track record in leadership and you must be able to nurture and empower staff whilst ensuring effective performance management and continuous improvement. Experience of change management will be essential to this role as we continue to drive efficiencies, innovation and commissioning throughout the service.
