Democratic Services Manager

Salary c£41,000 - £46,000

Are you an experienced committee manager with good interpersonal and strong project management skills, with a good understanding of local government procedures? If so, then you could be the perfect candidate to become our new Democratic Services Manager.

Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of local authority constitutional structures and decision making processes, along with experience in a similar role supporting and advising committees, boards and their members.

We are looking for someone with previous experience of manging a Democratic and/or Electoral Services Team who shares our values and wants to help us continuously improve our services. 

You will have a high degree of political acumen, be able to negotiate and challenge effectively and have experience of providing advice on constitutional matters.  You will be organised, flexible and have a positive approach.
