The Healthier Communities Team is seeking a highly motivated and suitably experienced Partnership Officer to support the work of both the Safer Barnsley Partnership and the Stronger Communities Partnership.
You will play a key role in ensuring robust partnership governance arrangements are in place and contribute to the continuous improvement of both partnerships and their sub-structures.
Possessing knowledge and understanding of the legislative and policy framework underpinning the work of the partnerships, you will take a lead role in the development of partnership work programmes ensuring effective monitoring of activity against key strategies and plans providing reports into various partnership meetings.
You will support the partnerships with information sharing through the development of information sharing agreements facilitating the active engagement of all stakeholders and ensuring compliance with all relevant information sharing legislation and protocols.
You will be methodical in the preparation of documentation, data and information and will have a well-developed ability to manage a challenging workload demonstrating skills in work prioritisation, organisation and time management.
You will need highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills and must have experience of supporting multi-agency partnerships to work collectively to achieve the best possible outcomes for individuals, families and communities.
You will be adaptive and have the ability to respond to a fast pace ever changing environment embracing new challenges and ways of working.
