Specialist Customer Service Apprentice

£13,601 (£7,719 pro rata)

21 hours spread over 3 days each week for 2 years
(Preferably Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)

There is an exciting opportunity within the Housing Options Team for a part-time Specialist Customer Service Apprentice.  Alongside the Level 3 specific training for this role you will gain practical day-to-day experience in a busy front line team. Completion of this apprenticeship will also lead to eligibility to join the Institute of Customer Service as an Individual member at Professional level.

The Housing Options Team delivers the council’s statutory homelessness service as well as providing housing advice to a varied range of customers. The role will be both challenging and rewarding and will equip the successful candidate with a skill set to underpin a long term career within a variety of customer service roles.

To be successful you will need to have a relevant Level 2 qualification, advanced interpersonal skills and previous experience of dealing with complex customer issues both face to face and on the telephone.
