Rugby Borough Council is centralising and expanding its Safety & Resilience Team.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team which will be driving behavioural change to ensure excellence in health, safety and welfare of employees and provide assurance on health and safety standards.  In addition, you will support business continuity and emergency planning to ensure resilience of the unit.

Your main focus will be to support and advise in the area of health and safety to the Property Services Group and recommend actions to management so that the Service complies with the relevant statutory provisions.

You will assist with planning, implementation and monitoring the effectiveness of our health and safety policy and procedures, with particular focus on Construction activities and the Property Services Group.

If you have experience and passion for health and safety in a construction focused environment, hold a NEBOSH qualification and have an ability to influence, champion and challenge behaviours to promote excellence in health, safety and welfare at work, as well as an interest in becoming involved in emergency planning and business continuity then this is the next job for you.
