These are exciting times at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council. Our ambitious five year plan will drive major change in the borough delivering economic growth, providing new cultural and community facilities and enhancing the quality of life for all. We are looking for a passionate and committed Head of Communities and Culture to be an integral part of our team and our journey.

Reporting directly to the Director of Change & Communities, you will lead key services including Housing, CCTV and Community Safety, the Assembly Hall Theatre and the Museum. You will be an experienced leader with a strong track record of working in partnership, building high performing teams and have excellent political skills. You’ll need to be a passionate, compelling advocate for your services and a voice for the community.
