Head of Learning
£74,281 –£80,836 per annum depending on experience, plus relocation package
We need a resilient leader with a positive outlook and a proven ability ensure the highest quality of education is delivered to all learners in Powys working closely with Early Years, Schools, Further Education and Higher Education partners to achieve this. Our aim is to ensure that the children & young people of Powys are supported to be:
• safe, healthy, confident and resilient;
• ambitious, capable learners, ready to learn throughout their lives;
• enterprising, creative contributors, ready to play a full part in life and work;
• ethical and informed citizens ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society
You will combine drive and determination with the ability to engage, inspire and empower your Senior Management Team and Head Teachers. You will have the ability to embrace change and develop innovative ways of improving the service.
Working with the Director of Education and Corporate Management Team to provide outstanding professional and operational leadership across schools in Powys, you will have experience in delivering high quality services with an extensive track record in service excellence, innovation, school improvement and performance delivery.
