Build a Social Work Future

We have recently realigned our social work services and have exciting opportunities for you to lead our teams and drive our work forward.

Brent are busy building a social work future for our children and their families and we would love you to be part of it.

In response to what our young people have told us, and in order to meet local and national priorities, we have decided to develop an innovative single service to meet the needs of all of our disabled young people from birth up to the age of 25.

By bringing all of our existing teams into one new resource we are confident that we can provide a seamless and more responsive service for all of our young people. In order to help us create and develop this exciting new service we are now looking for a manager who will drive forward these developments.

The right person will be creative and able to apply their extensive knowledge of practice to our way of working.

With a track record of achievement at management level, your enthusiasm for improving and building services will help us to complete our building project.

Employees tell us that they are excited by where our social work services are going and our growing numbers of permanent social work staff evidences that clearly.

Our newly launched practice framework is underpinned by theory and supported by our ongoing participation in the England Innovations’ Fund Signs of Safety project. The framework sets the basis within which we help our employees to develop, with a number of tailored training programmes designed to support their work and grow the potential of our own social workers.

Our social work teams have manageable caseloads to allow meaningful work and are supported by a fully permanent senior management team committed to building effective social work services.

We offer iPad and iPhones for all social workers to help you work flexibly and efficiently.

There are very good public transport links to Wembley, meaning accessibility is easy for our staff from all over London and beyond.

Apply now! Please note we do not accept CVs for this role.
