HR/ Payroll Support Officer
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wishes to gain experience within the HR / Payroll function.
You will be joining a friendly and busy HR team and your role will initially include providing support for training administration across the Council. As you will be working as part of a team that delivers support with a whole range of activities including, recruitment, vetting and payroll you will also be involved in the other functions at various times so experience in a HR or Payroll environment is desirable. The role involves use of our integrated HR / Payroll system (iTrent) and therefore previous experience of this system would be beneficial.
Experience of delivering high quality administrative support would be an advantage, however more important are strong organisational skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines.
We are looking for the successful applicant to work 37 hours per week.
