An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer in the Council's Economic Development and Implementation Team.

This is a new post and we are looking for a highly motivated person to work on an exciting range of projects to support the growth of Chelmsford in the coming years.

Key responsibilities include preparing heritage assessments, conservation area reviews, planning briefs and development projects that will support the Chelmsford Local Plan and the Council's Economic Strategy.

A highly motivated individual, you will be a good communicator, have a sound knowledge of planning legislation and policy, plus some experience of heritage, urban design and economic development matters.  Importantly you will have initiative, a collaborative approach to working and a positive attitude to problem solving.

This is a great opportunity to work with a range of other professionals across the Team, Directorate, Council and key external partners to deliver an exciting programme of initiatives across Chelmsford.
