We have exciting opportunities to join our Property and Contracts, Schools’ Facilities Management (FM) Team, to work with the in house team and specialist contractors in providing FM services to schools and children’s centres.  These are high profile service provisions and role requires experience of working within a multi-disciplinary in-house service team, good practice in FM services, as well as skill in partnership working. In this busy and varied role, the postholder will be expected to drive improvement and to deliver results, applying a continual focus on improvement.

You will need to act as first point of contact for trades staff and specialist contractors to allocate repairs in a high volume responsive repairs environment, monitor progress and update repairs systems in real time through to practical completion of work to ensure a comprehensive repairs service is delivered to our stakeholders.  You will demonstrate thorough knowledge of the repairs process in particular the sequence of work and time taken to complete repairs tasks will be important for the role, as well as experience and understanding of repairs types, prioritisation and timeframes within education environment. You will have experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team, collating and inputting high volumes of information and scheduling fast turnaround work in a flexible, changing environment.
