Legal Team Leader
Having just recruited to a new position managing our legal, democratic and electoral services, we are now keen to find an experienced legal professional who has good communication and people management skills to manage and guide our legal team. The legal unit is a small multi-disciplinary team of professional staff that provides legal advice and support across a diverse range of Council activities.
Suitable qualifications you will have include: Solicitor, Barrister or FCILEX, with at least 3 years post qualification experience.
The role will involve representing the Council and advising generally on all aspects of local government law but with an emphasis on Planning Law knowledge and experience.
The role includes being the Council’s Deputy Monitoring Officer, although training will be given for this role.
