Compass Point Business Services (CPBS) is looking for a HR Business Partner.
Compass Point Business Services (CPBS) is a local authority owned trading company (LATCo) owned by South Holland and East Lindsey District Councils. It has been operating since 2010 and delivers a range of services including Human Resources, ICT, Finance, Revenues & Benefits, Customer Contact and Health & Safety, to the client Councils.

Salary range: Up to £30,032 per annum
Available hours: 37 per week
Office Base: 1 x Manby, Louth, Lincolnshire and 1 x Spalding, Lincolnshire
Contract type: Permanent
Pension: Local Government CARE Pension Scheme - 21.8% employer contribution rate - annual value £6,546
Holidays: 25 days a year plus bank holidays (rising to 30)

The purpose of the HR Business Partner role is to ensure the delivery of an effective, robust and professional HR business partnering model to our clients (East Lindsey District Council and South Holland District Council). You will ensure the comprehensive delivery of professional HR services in line with Service Level Agreements. This is a fixed term two year role within the local government sector for an ambitious, creative, positive thinker with innovative ideas to support and drive the company forward.
This is an exciting role for a driven HR Business Partner with proven experience who is looking for a new challenge within a shared service organisation. You will join our growth & transformation journey as we design & shape our client Councils for the future. You will report into the HR Managers and work closely with the client Council Managers. We promote a great collaborative culture, ideas always welcome, with a focus on employee engagement.
The HR Business Partner role will be responsible for the following:
• Managing ad hoc projects;
• Supporting change management;
• Leading on employee relations including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and performance improvement;
• Partnering with client organisations within unionised environments;
• Drive transformation and change projects;
• Reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures;
• Supporting the delivery of training to client managers;
• Support and provide advice to managers and employees and act as an advisor for compliance on HR policies;
Although a background in local government or public sector services may be helpful to the successful candidate – we need talented, innovative and passionate individuals to move us forwards - don’t be put off just because you haven’t worked within a Local Government arena before.
