Camden Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board is a group of statutory, voluntary and independent organisations all committed to working together and its work is centred on safeguarding adults from any kind of abuse and neglect. The Board is multi agency and coordinates how its members and partner agencies across the borough work together in order to help and protect adults who may be experiencing, or are at risk of harm.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and professional Administrator to provide effective administrative support to the Safeguarding Board and the Safeguarding Board Manager. The post holder will be responsible for preparing correspondence and reports for partners, maintaining the Board website, coordinating meetings and taking detailed minutes at various senior management and board level meetings, which will be attended by Directors and other senior leaders from across the Council and the wider partnership.
Please note we will also consider a 12 month Secondment for this post and would welcome applicants from our partner organisations such the Police and NHS as well as voluntary organisations.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
To be considered for this post it is essential that you have demonstrable minute taking skills. This is a standalone post and therefore, the successful candidate should be able to work with minimum supervision and direction and be highly responsive to contact from internal colleagues, external stakeholders, members of the board and senior management to provide an excellent level of customer service and progress priority issues as needed. The post holder will be adaptable to changes, be able to deal with competing priorities and demands and work flexibly to ensure outcomes are delivered. You will be a confident communicator (both written and verbal) who can liaise with colleagues across all levels of seniority. You will be fully proficient in using Microsoft Office packages to produce documents, send correspondence, set up meetings and to record, research and report. The ideal candidate will be customer focused and have previous experience in providing information for routine service quality audits.
The successful candidate will support the Safeguarding Adults Board Manager to ensure that effective systems are in place to monitor, review and refresh Safeguarding Adults policy protocols and standards as required by the Council.
