We are looking for an innovative and experienced leader to be our new Head of Customers and Communications.

You’ll be joining us at a very exciting time. The council has adopted a clear vision as an open and enterprising council that works in new ways with communities, residents, staff, businesses and partners, transforming services to meet the demands of the 2020s.

Vision 2025 sets out four strategic priorities for our county: economy, health and care, learning and skills, and residents and communities.

You will be joining a dynamic new Senior Leadership Team and will lead on ICT Services, customer service experience, the digital transformation of council services, internal and external communications, and marketing.

As an innovational digital leader, you will explore and implement new cutting edge technology that will transform services for customers, residents and the workforce. You will work in partnership with the local health board to enhance our health and social care systems to meet the needs of Powys residents.

As an experienced communications professional, you will be responsible for delivering campaigns that reflect both the Corporate Improvement Plan and Vision 2025 to our communities through a wide choice of online multimedia and print publications.

Powys is a county of outstanding natural beauty, coupled with improved digital connectivity with our communities, you will be responsible for promoting and marketing the county as a place to live, work and visit.
