As Resources Specialist Services Manager you will ensure Maldon Council is recognised as a trusted, forward thinking partner that embeds an achievement culture and enhances the organisation’s ability to deliver for customers. This means leading the provision of a range of timely, effective support services; ensuring compliance and enabling the organisation to deliver for its customers. In particular you will:
- Be accountable for providing information, advice and guidance to enable Service Delivery to deliver on corporate targets
- Coach, support and enable the Resources Case Management team
- Be accountable for building and maintaining internal processes and systems
- Be solution focused whilst ensuring the organisation is protected
You will bring extensive working knowledge and experience of a range of support services that ensure successfully delivery of key Council services. This will include working knowledge of legislation, policies and developments in several specialist and complex areas. You will be able to demonstrate successful experience of managing and motivating a large team of technical and professional specialists. As a leader, you will demonstrate the ability to provide direction, shaping a vision and environment that enables, inspires and influences others, providing them with a clear sense of direction and purpose.
You will bring a track record of working collaboratively across organisations and partnerships, as well as an appetite and instinct for enabling and delivering change. Your style will encourage and support others to perform effectively and achieve success.
