Join an exciting IT Shared Service
IT Support Consultant (Storage and Cloud Infrastructure)

Brent is a tremendously vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. Spanning both inner and outer London, it is a borough of huge contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make up. Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.

The council is pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community so it is an exciting time to join us.

The Post

The ICT Shared Service is growing, now supporting Brent, Lewisham, Southwark and the Local Government Association, as well as providing some services to Air France and Barking & Dagenham. This post is part of the datacentre support team, and will have primary responsibility for managing the storage and cloud infrastructure (Azure) systems used in the shared service, being the ultimate point of escalation and design authority for any issues related to those systems.

The Person

We are looking for an IT engineer with substantial experience of managing storage and cloud infrastructure solutions in a large complex organisation.

Closing Date: 28 January 2018 (23:00)
Assessment & Interview Date: To Be Confirmed
