Location: 5 Pancras Square
Salary: £28,910 - £33,531
Contract Type: 1x Fixed Term until 30th June 2020, full time, 36 hours per week

The Role
As a Compliance and Monitoring officer, you’ll be playing a leading role in collating, processing, and monitoring financial information relating to the Kings Cross Construction Skills Centre.
You’ll take personal responsibility while working with learners to refine their individual progression plans and provide ongoing monitoring support for learners for up to 6 months in employment. Alongside this, you’ll manage the day-to day operational outputs performance and monitoring of the CITB Skills fund Programme.
This is a great opportunity to further develop your skills and provide an essential service to the residents of Camden.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
You’ll have a strong understanding of issues facing long term unemployed people from disadvantaged backgrounds and sources of support. Your knowledge of financial and budgetary monitoring systems will mean you are able to review processes and produce financial information e.g. budgetary control statements.
Good communication skills, oral and written, including the ability to present complex information and advice clearly and concisely to a diverse range of people within and outside the Council is essential to the role. Alongside this, you will be familiar with a range of ICT systems.
This will be rewarding role and you will be working with a range of stakeholders to ensure that our residents are exposed to a variety of employment opportunities that are regularly reviewed and monitored.
