By joining Ealing, you will be part of a respected, innovative and diverse London borough with a strong reputation for its commitment to social care, health and well-being.

Public Health sits at the forefront of our early intervention and prevention work and so we are looking for a Director who enjoys building strong relationships with partners and embraces the opportunities from working within a Council setting.

You will lead on tackling public health challenges that we share with many other authorities including child obesity, substance misuse and infectious disease but you will also ensure that public health is centre stage in tackling challenges such as youth crime and in promoting physical activity. Your collegiate style and high quality advice will be respected by internal and external partners, as will your ability to work closely with Ealing’s Elected Members who fully support the role and contribution of public health.

This is a great opportunity to join a Council looking for a new DPH to be a powerful and persuasive advocate of all our communities.

For a discussion in confidence, please contact Marcia Williams or Penny Ransley at GatenbySanderson on 020 7426 3374 or click the 'apply' button for more information.

Closing date: 7th February 2019.
