Contract: Fixed term (24 Months)

Hours of work: 36 hours per week

Location: Civic Centre and other locations from time to time

The Post

We are looking for a dynamic candidate with extensive experience and knowledge of working with vulnerable young people and their families within an early intervention framework. 

The post holder will provide a flexible, intensive, rapid intervention service to vulnerable young people and their families predominantly working in the Out of Hours (evenings and weekends) on a rota basis. This will often involve working at the point of crisis within the Early Intervention framework for young people, to prevent the escalation of cases to statutory services and ultimately preventing young people becoming looked after. 

You will work in partnership with colleagues in the Children and Young people department, wider council, schools, police, aligned and commissioned services as well as voluntary agencies, to achieve measurable and sustainable outcomes for young people and families, using a whole family approach.
