Interim Development Managers are required by our local authority client to lead the delivery of significant property and regeneration projects.

Activities will include:

  • Establishing project feasibility
  • Obtaining master planning and design as appropriate
  • Appraising viability and securing funding
  • Securing planning permission where necessary
  • Procurement and management of consultants and construction services
  • Supervision of developments
  • Budget management and cost projections
  • Ensuring, legal, regulatory and policy compliance including health and safety reporting

Many schemes will be delivered in conjunction with other public sector partners and stakeholders so applicants must be skilled in partnership working and have good political awareness.

You will have:

  • Significant experience of delivering property and regeneration projects at scale, at a senior level
  • Relevant qualifications and membership of relevant professional bodies
  • Political acumen and strong experience of partnership working
  • Drive, energy and the ability to work at pace

These are expected to be 12 month contracts and outside IR35
