An exciting opportunity has arisen to become the next Head of HR & OD for Compass Point Business Services (CPBS).

CPBS is a Local Authority Trading Company (LATCo) set up in 2010, which delivers a range of corporate support services, including HR and Payroll, to South Holland and East Lindsey District Councils. The Company employees 235 staff and operates from two main sites in Spalding and Manby Lincolnshire, where your teams would be based.

We deliver HR, OD and Payroll services to over 1000 employees across four different organisations.

You would be joining us at a really exciting time as we finalise a new 10 year contract with our shareholders and as we seek agreement for our transformation plan which will see further investment, development and opportunity, to move the organisation forwards and as we aim to develop plans for future growth.

We would like a strategic HR professional who is inspiring, dynamic, energetic, proactive and keen to make a really positive impact on our organisation and those whom we provide services to.

Obviously you will  be CIPD qualified and someone who has already led, developed and motivated HR teams across a broad range of professional HR areas, such as Business Partnering, Recruitment, OD, Change, Transformation, Reward, Talent  you get it....we want a generalist HR leader who positively leads, influences and delivers.

This may be a step up for you or you may already be at this level and looking for a side-ways move where you will also be exposed to strategic leadership within an organisation as part of the company Senior Leadership Team.

Selection and assessment process are due to take place on 28th Feb and 5th March in Boston, Lincolnshire. Shortlisted candidates will be expected to take part in a personality profiling assessment prior to interview, which will be followed by a two part interview process, including a presentation on a subject notified in advance, followed by a competency based interview.

The Company has delivered savings in the region of £23m, through the collaboration and sharing of services over the last 10 years and the future contract will see an additional saving of £9m to 2030.
