Job Details

We believe that, although it’s often cited, this role really is a unique opportunity. Take a look at Brent and you will find it easy to see why. As one of London’s most diverse boroughs, we are proud to be the 2020 London Borough of Culture, the host for the men’s European Championships in 2020, and the women’s European Championships in 2021.

We are determined to keep improving and to build on our successes and plan to build nearly 3,000 new homes per year. Our ambitious regeneration plans and housing zones are moving at pace and our town centres are changing with more to strive for and deliver. If this was not enough, we have a high performing adult education in Brent Start that is rated as good, you will help ensure it achieves an outstanding rating.

This new role demands a regeneration professional who is passionate about shaping and delivering better outcomes for our residents, businesses and visitors. Working closely with elected members, who have a keen interest in such a key agenda, you will lead a high performing team. Your breadth of regeneration experience will be underpinned by your understanding of the demands and complexity of working at a senior level in a fast-paced urban local authority.
