An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the Community Protection Team at Chelmsford City Council. You will be required to take the lead on community safety projects and education in partnership with other organisations ensuring the objectives of the team are met, on time, within budget and that meet policy requirements.

In this varied role you will be responsible for overseeing the Council’s safeguarding duty and ensuring the Council meet its statutory duty.

You will be an excellent team player and organised, including the ability to manage and coordinate large scale events and have experience of working within a public sector partnerships environment. You will possess good communication skills when dealing with both staff and partners and you will be able to maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate strong customer service skills.
