Are you a graduate or someone with an equivalent qualification who is motivated and energised to work within a multi-disciplinary environment?

Are you an enthusiastic and hardworking team player with some knowledge of school place planning and/or capital projects; or perhaps interested in a new career path in this area?

If yes, this is a great opportunity for you to join the Place Planning and Capital Commissioning team within the Strategy, Performance and Commissioning Division of Children's Services Directorate of Royal Greenwich. Here, all transferrable skills are of great value, given the wide range of roles that we perform.

Being a member of the team dedicated to delivering Royal Greenwich's strategic objectives of ensuring sufficient high quality education places are available to meet growing demand, means that you can be sure of a rewarding outcome - seeing with your own eyes the positive impact you make in the lives of our children and young people.

In your day-to-day work as Place Planning and Capital Commissioning Officer, you will be involved in the planning and commissioning of school places and all that these require. This means that you will be actively working with multiple stakeholders both within and outside the organisation to negotiate and deliver the best provisions in the interest of the children and young people in Royal Greenwich.

Please view the attached job description and specification for the key requirements for this role and address these when completing your supporting statement.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 31st March 2019.

It is expected that assessments and interviews will be held during the week commencing Monday 29th April 2019.

Royal Borough of Greenwich reserves the right to close any vacancy earlier than the advertised closing date should there be a high volume of applications received.
