Do you enjoy the occasional hot chocolate?

If you answered yes, Gravel Hill and the Unity Trust is the place for you.

At Gravel Hill Primary School our children are curious, independent, natural researchers who take ownership of their own learning.  They enjoy coming to school, where their well-being is at the heart of everything we do and we work together to build confidence and self-esteem.

Gravel Hill Primary School is an oversubscribed two-form entry primary school, with a morning nursery, in the heart of Bexleyheath.  We are part of the Unity Academy Trust, along with Upland Primary School.  Our school has a vibrant feel; we are proud of our happy, welcoming and positive atmosphere and our strong community links.

We are looking for an innovative and dynamic teacher to join our committed and supportive team on their journey.  In return we offer an intensive induction package, lots of support and a commitment to high quality CPD. Well-being is a fundamental characteristic of Gravel Hill and therefore PPA is provided in a half day block , that can be taken at home.

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged for this position, so if you are the type of person that believes they can make a difference to children’s learning, please telephone the school office on 01322 521343 to arrange a visit.

We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All offers of employment are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and other pre-employment checks.  We are also committed to equality and diversity in employment practice and service delivery.  For further information about Gravel Hill and the Unity Academy Trust, please contact the school office or visit our school website:
