Contract type: Fixed-term, until March 2020
Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday (some evenings and weekends may be required)
Location: Based in Spalding, covering South Holland District, Lincolnshire

By working closely with partners and residents to promote community cohesion and social inclusion, the Community Warden carries out uniformed patrols of hot spot areas in the district; including ensuring compliance of the current Public Space Protection Order in South Holland.
Although education and engagement is key to the success of this role, you will have to issue Fixed Penalty Notices for offences, when required.
The ability to write clear, accurate statements that can be used in court is essential as are excellent observational skills; the ability to problem solve under pressure whilst keeping a cool head; and be able to mediate and negotiate with a diverse audience.
Working knowledge and application of current relevant legislation used to deal with anti-social behaviour are vital; as are excellent communication and IT skills.
