Local Highways Manager (East) - Lincolnshire County Council
About the Role
This is a key managerial role in Highway Network Management, responsible for the planning and delivery of local team functions in one of the four highway areas (East) on behalf of the County Council as a Highway Authority.
The postholder will identify and prioritise Highway maintenance schemes in their district area, reviewing and allocating the best use of available resources, now and for the future, in a creative and sustainable way. You'll be responsible for the overall response to Highways-related emergency events within an area, co-ordinating the production and prioritisation of pragmatic and holistic solutions.
Through developing and maintaining strong, positive relationships with local communities, elected members and stakeholders across all service areas, the postholder will contribute to a conscientious culture of proactive, future-focused service delivery that is accountable and engaging to our customers.
