Contract: Permanent

Hours of work: 21.6 hours per week

Location: Civic Centre and other locations from time to time

Our Legal Services team provides comprehensive legal services to the council and to our external clients. We are a busy, friendly team and pride ourselves on the quality and responsiveness of our service. The team plays a pivotal role in supporting the council's high profile and ambitious programme of regeneration and its commercial aspirations.

The Post

This is an exciting new role that has been established in our busy and growing contracts team to support the council's commercial agendas, in particular to lead on supporting the council's project to review its public realm contracts expiring in 2023 and plan for future provision of these services.

The Person

As an experienced lawyer, you will have a sound understanding of procurement regulations and statutory processes that apply within local government and specific expertise in advising on the procurement of public realm related contracts.
