Job Details

The role

As a Case Management Officer you will be key to the Customer Assurance process by undertaking all reviews (including Statutory and LGO reviews), appeals, complaints and senior level MP/member enquiries owning, coordinating and managing cases to a successful conclusion by investigating, assessing and identifying appropriate solutions.

You will progress case work in accordance with statutory and corporate deadlines while complying with all relevant legislation and Council policy ensuring that the main focus is on solving the issues and following up outstanding actions whilst ensuring that all stakeholders, particularly the Councillor and/or customer, are kept informed and updated at all times until the case has been resolved.

You will have detailed understanding of housing and social care statutes, case law, policy and procedures for the service area while knowledge of customer care and case management processes is essential.

Another vital part of the role will require you to have working knowledge of how Housing & Adult Social Care services interlink to provide the end to end service to our customer.

Critical to the role is having experience of relationship management in a political arena while having extensive knowledge of housing & social care terminology and a basic understanding of housing and social care regulations
