We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to assist Chelmsford City Council's Building Services in the day to day management of the building maintenance help desk.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to become a vital link between the Premises Managers and the Council's Contractors to make sure our buildings meet the needs of the organisation. These include, amongst others: Hylands House, the Civic Centre, Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre, High Chelmer Multi Story Car Park and Chancellor Park Pavilion. You will coordinate reactive jobs, ensure they are accurately invoiced and paid and be responsible for maintaining energy billing data. To do this you as must have excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

You will be based at the Civic Centre Offices in Chelmsford, but you may also be required to travel to sites within the district. This role is offered on a permanent part-time basis, specifically 20 hours per week over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
