As Director of Prevention and Early Help, you’ll ensure that vulnerable children, young people and their families receive high quality prevention and early help services. It’s not just a case of excellent service delivery – although that’s a key responsibility - it’s about introducing change and innovation to create sustainable improvement to outcomes. You’ll have the power to make a positive impact on so many lives and it all starts with placing children and parents at the heart of your thinking.
This is an exciting role which you will innovate to improve our offer within localities, working in a multi-agency environment. You’ll have solid experience in senior management, within a children centered service. Partnerships are also key, so if you are a person who can network, engage diverse groups and communities and co-produce with all our stakeholders, then Cheshire East is the place for you!
With this background, you’ll bring experience of strategic and operational management, comfortable in both the development and delivery of evidence-based interventions. Your track record of achievement shows you’ve managed change within complex systems. There’ll also be evidence of inspirational team leadership and a good grasp of relevant legislation and policies. Underpinning all this will be good judgment, integrity and a gift for communication.
