The Post

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing the operations and contributing towards the development of the new Bridge Park Community Leisure Centre. 

As the Operations Manager you will oversee the day-to-day management of the Community Leisure Centre. You will have staff management responsibility and will need considerable management experience in a leisure facility. You will oversee the commercial, operational and financial performance of the centre. Coaching and developing your team, maintaining operating standards, exceeding service standards and driving sales will be part of your role.

The Person

You will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate commercial acumen, strong financial skills and have experience in managing and delivering organisational change. You will need to have organisational skills, a flair for exceptional customer service and a team-oriented approach to achieving results. You must be a self-motivated and committed individual with a drive, enthusiasm and passion about making a difference to peoples’ lives by encouraging them to take part in physical activity. 

In addition, strong people management skills and the ability to prioritise and work in a fast passed environment is essential. 

The post requires a flexible approach to hours of work and to be generally available to work at any time, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
