The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager with experience of leading and managing regulated and non-regulated care and support services. The Group Manager will provide operational leadership, vision and direction to designated teams. You will be able to demonstrate a track record in leading change, motivating, managing and developing services and staff, alongside a clear understanding of the responsibilities in delivering excellent care and enablement services, meeting quality standards of regulatory organisations such as Care Quality Commission.
My Options - Activity, Wellbeing and Care Services is part of Telford and Wrekin Council and provides a wide range of flexible, quality care and support services which look to promote, independence wellbeing and community involvement, enabling vulnerable people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to live life the way they choose.
As a key member of the services management team the Group Manager will contribute significantly to the delivery, continuous improvement and development of the My Options services.

The Group Manager is a key member of the Council’s My Options Service management team and will contribute significantly to the delivery, continuous improvement and development of the services.
• The post holder will manage a designated number of regulated and non-regulated service areas delivered to customers with a wide range of Care and Enablement needs. The services currently include: Lakewood Court Residential home and Wellbeing centre, Community Support Service, Shared Lives, Community Activity and Wellbeing service, Skills and Enterprise Hub and Young People’s service,
