We have bold ambitions for public health in Hounslow and, by joining us as our new Director, you will personally drive forward our prevention work and lead on integrated care with our health partners.

We are a borough that embraces the role and power of public health to improve lives. We want a Director who is energised by the opportunity to work collaboratively to improve the resilience of our most vulnerable residents and to ensure that every Hounslow child has a good start in life.

You will of course lead on tackling public health challenges that we share with many other authorities but your whole system thinking will ensure we tackle the wider determinants of health including social isolation, falls and mental health and well-being.

Working closely with our Director of Joint Commissioning, you will become a passionate advocate for our borough and what we want to achieve. Your ability to influence and persuade organisations from every sector to play a role in the health and well-being of our residents will galvanise change.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, diverse Council which has just moved into a brand new civic campus and, with a new Chief Executive has renewed its focus on public health’s part in health and care reform.

For a discussion in confidence, please contact Rachel Cox on 0113 205 6068 or Penny Ransley at GatenbySanderson on 020 7426 3962 or click the 'apply' button below.
