Transformation Programme Manager
We are currently seeking an experienced Programme Manager to support the Council’s emerging transformation programme. The Council faces tough financial challenges over the coming years and we need to make radical changes to what we deliver and how we do it. The transformation and change team are supporting our Corporate Leadership Team to develop creative, innovative ways to adapt our services to best meet the outcomes that are important to our residents. The programme spans a wide range of services and its complexity requires a high level of stakeholder management and a firm grip on individual projects. The level of change required and the pace with which it needs to be delivered requires the ability to steer all parties through unprecedented challenges.
You will provide effective programme management to help deliver a portfolio of complex and transformational change projects. You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) and have a strong track record in project management, including agile and waterfall techniques. As this role is focused around developing our assets programme, experience in that area would be beneficial as would experience of developing adults or children’s services. However, we are equally keen to hear from candidates with broad programme management experience and transferrable skills.
Do you think you have what it takes?
