Working within our recently established Commercial Team, you will support the development and delivery of a wide range of projects which are driving the commercialisation of services and opportunities across the council.

The Council’s commercial focus is on maximising charging, trading and investment opportunities to generate income and reduce costs; as well as encouraging services to adopt a more business-like and entrepreneurial approach, in creating solutions which protect services for our residents and communities. 

You will have experience of working in a commercial environment, or of developing initiatives into a deliverable business model, together with proven project management skills, and an ability to communicate and influence colleagues and partners at all levels within our organisation.
