Prevention and Wellbeing Project Officer
There is a new strategic plan for living and ageing well in Camden – Supporting People, Connecting Communities. Working as part of the ASC Transformation and Performance Service, you will play an important role in this work, managing and contributing to a number of projects.
The role requires working collaboratively with front-line services, integrated commissioning, and key partners to ensure that Adult social care services support national, regional and Camden priorities, as well as meeting the needs of Camden residents.
The ideal candidate will have a high degree of political sensitivity and experience of working stakeholders, the wider community, the NHS and other external partners are essential for this role.
With a good knowledge of the local and national drivers for social care and health, you should have experience of leading health/social care projects. You must be able to work on own initiative with imagination and creativity to deliver difficult outcomes/targets, with the ability to plan and prioritise work to manage conflicting priorities, meet delivery deadlines, targets and agreed work standards, with minimum supervision or direction from management.
You will have excellent report writing skills and the ability to confidently provide specialist informed advice to senior managers and other decision makers. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and be part of an exciting time in Adult Social Care.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
