Havering is on an exciting journey of transformation as we modernise our services for residents and improve the quality of the external environment, as well as deliver our hugely ambitious new build regeneration programme to provide much needed homes for the borough’s residents. We now need an exceptional leader to further our ambitions for a cleaner, safer, prouder borough that works together with our residents.

As Head of Service, you will provide strategic oversight and direction across the Council’s full range of Supported Housing services. With a passion for public service and putting customers at the heart of all you do, you will develop strong links with residents, building effective platforms to create a real impact amongst our communities.

With a proven track record of leading effective frontline services within a housing context, you will drive service improvement and develop change programmes across a number of key service areas, including sheltered schemes, temporary accommodation and Out of Hours housing support. You will inspire Council-wide collaboration and deliver truly excellent services, ensuring that our borough remains a safe, well connected and enjoyable place to live and work. With your expert leadership, we can realise our ambitions to be the most resident-focused borough in London.
