We have an exciting opportunity to join our prestige Property Management division, to manage performance of the FM contractors particularly schools’ PFI contracts; ensuring Camden’s educational buildings are maintained to a high standard, enabling educational services to be delivered. These are complex high profile contracts and the role requires a detailed knowledge of contractual terms and good practice in PFI FM services and skill in partnership working. In this busy and varied role, the postholder will be expected to drive improvement and to deliver results, applying a continual focus on improvement.

The role combines contract management skills with technical awareness, understanding of the educational built environment and partnership building with service delivery at the forefront.

The successful candidate will be experienced in managing operational FM contracts, preferably under PFI within schools using your organisational skills, whilst being meticulous and independent. You should also be able to demonstrate experience of procuring and managing service contracts for a wide range of users. We also feel that an excellent communicator with negotiation and influencing skills, building and maintaining positive relationships between contractors, schools / colleagues with high levels of service delivery is essential to the role. Even though specific qualifications are not as important in this post as strong experience of complex contract management in service delivery, particularly in PFI Facilities Management contracts. Qualifications such as Facilities management qualification and / or BA or BSC or appropriate qualifications would be desirable for this role.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
